The Minneapolis General Conference session of 1888 is one of the most important in the history of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. There, the message of justification by faith was presented to Adventist as never before. Ellen White admitted that the message preached by Alonzo Trèvier Jones and Ellet Joseph Wagoner was from God, constituting the message to Laodicea and the third angel's message that the church had to take to the world. She invited the people to receive this message on which destiny of the church hangs.
